What to expect:
Playing the harmonica with HoBo is just fun! He has the blues in his blood and shares his enthusiasm for playing the harmonica with a lot of feeling and experience. Playing the harmonica is good for the soul, which finds expression, and good for health, as you train your breathing and relax your nerves.
This small, handy instrument with its fascinating sound fits into any travel luggage and is therefore as much a part of camping as campfires and swimming lakes. In the workshop, you can gain initial experiences or further develop your skills. The topics of the workshop will be determined based on the participants' abilities. Focus areas may include: single note playing, bending, hand positioning, sound formation and tone, cleaning the instrument, basics of blues, playing in a band, electric amplification, and much more.
For whom?
For beginners and advanced players, as well as children.
Instruments
A diatonic harmonica, 10 hole Richter tuning, is required.
If you do not have a harmonica, you can purchase an instrument on-site.

Who is HoBo?
Holger Daub lives in Hamburg and is a renowned German blues musician and entertainer, known primarily as a virtuoso specialist on the harmonica. He shapes the scene through international collaborations as well as regular performances with blues greats like Abi Wallenstein and shares his knowledge in workshops and nature events. On Sunday morning (26.7.2026, 11 AM), you can experience him live on stage with Tim Lothar.
