From Berlin or Neubrandenburg

B96 to Fürstenberg. Continue: Steinförde. Großmenow. At the exit of Großmenow, the campsite is located.

From Hamburg

Highway 24 Exit No. 19 Pritzwalk. Towards Wittstock (be careful, there is a speed camera right after the town sign!), Babitz, Schweinrich, Flecken Zechlin, Zechliner Hütte, Canow and Strasen. From Strasen the campsite is signposted.

The nearest train station is Fürstenberg / Havel. The RE 5 from Berlin stops here every hour. It is about 8 km to the campsite from there.

You can travel from Fürstenberg train station to Großmenow either via MOHVER (flexible times within specific time windows, including weekends) or the on-demand bus Rufbus 848 (fixed times only, weekdays only; PDF timetable (valid as of 06/2026)). The journey is charged at the VBB fare rate and requires advance booking by calling 03306-2307 at least 90 minutes before departure. From the stop in Großmenow, it is just a short walk to our location.

The bike path Berlin-Copenhagen and the Ice Age route lead to the campsite in Großmenow.

From the train station Fürstenberg, go left and first left through the underpass. Then follow the turning main road.

This main road leads over Steinförde to Großmenow. In Großmenow, turn left at the intersection. After 500 m, the campsite is on the waterfront.

It is about 8 km, taking about 30 min.
