What is it about?

Mushrooms are mysterious beings. Neither plant nor animal, they live underground and only come to light under favorable conditions. They are indispensable components of our ecosystems and perform vital functions. Too often we walk past them unsuspectingly, but when we approach them with curiosity, the diversity of their forms and colors leaves us in awe.

Reason enough to embark on a search for mushrooms and dedicate 2.5 - 3 hours of our attention to them. During the excursion, we will explore their lifestyles, ecological relationships, and important distinguishing features.

If we find easily identifiable edible mushrooms during our search, they can of course be collected – but this is not the main focus.

Who is the offer for?

For adults and families.

The tour is divided into two parts: After an introduction suitable for families/children (approx. 1 hour), those who want to learn more will delve deeper into the world of mushrooms. We start at the campsite, and depending on the mushroom yield, we will also explore the immediate surroundings in the second part.

No prior knowledge is required. The level of depth will be adapted to the participants.

What should I bring?

Sturdy shoes as well as long pants and light clothing are recommended as tick protection.
Bring enough water with you.
