Slawendorf Neustrelitz (Slavic Village)

Highly recommended, especially with children.

From around the 7th century to the middle of the 12th century, Slavic tribes lived in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and to this day, place names bear witness to their influence. The Slavic village at Zierker Lake brings visitors closer to the time of Slavic settlement. The village is about 1.4 hectares in size. In the clay and wooden huts, especially children can learn traditional construction methods and craftsmanship techniques and get creative themselves. Not on rainy days.
