Pitches in the Car-Free Tent Area
Our car-free pitches are located in a semi-shady pine and hazel mixed forest. A car is not allowed to park directly at the tent; instead, there is a parking lot at the edge of the campsite. For loading and unloading, you can drive briefly close to the pitch.
Pitch Sizes
- S (small, 1–3 persons, tent area up to 5 m²) – romantic and compact.
- M (family tent, tent area up to 12 m²) – suitable for a family tent/4-person tent, usually also two small tents (see pop-up at the booking page).
- L (large family tent, tent area up to 20 m²) – space for a larger family tent/5-6 person tent or a medium and a small tent or several small tents.
- XL (groups, from 20 m² tent area) – ideal for two families, friend groups, or large tent castles; some pitches consist of combined family pitches and retain the open, natural character of the area.

Electricity at the Campsite
Many, but not all, pitches in the car-free area are within reach of an electricity distribution point. If you select on our booking page that you need electricity, only those pitches that have electricity supply will be shown to you. The distance to the nearest electricity box can be found in the pitch description. Please bring a suitable cable. Electricity is charged flat rate per day.
Car at the Tent
If you want to park your car directly at the tent, please choose a pitch in the non-car-free area. Select a size that accommodates both car and tent in the pitch area – for example, for a medium tent up to 12 m², choose a pitch L.
Pitches for Campers, Caravans, and Tents with Cars
Our pitches can accommodate everything suitable for camping – from a small tent with the car right next to it, to vans, campers, or trailers, up to a converted truck. (Info about the car-free pitches can be found further down.)
Select the appropriate size category to make a preliminary choice of the pitches that are suitable for your camp. The detailed pop-ups on our booking page show dimensions, ground conditions, sunlight exposure, and maximum occupancy.
Categories
- Pitch S (van, up to 4.5 m): e.g. small tent, car with rooftop tent, small trailer without a car at the pitch, or vans.
- Pitch M (van plus, up to 5 m): e.g. van + small tent or awning, small trailer with awning, small tent + car at the tent.
- Pitch L (motorhome & co., up to 6 m): motorhome, camper van, tent up to 12m² + car or trailer + awning, tents up to 20 m² without a car at the pitch.
- Pitch XL (groups and large vehicles, over 6m): large motorhomes, converted trucks, group camps, also mixtures of vehicles and tents.

Car at the tent
If the car is to stand at the pitch, choose a category larger than your tent. Tent S + car = Pitch M, Tent M + car = L, Tent L/XL + car = XL. The car must not stand on paths or neighboring pitches.
Electricity at the pitch
Almost all pitches in the non-car-free area offer electricity. If you select on our booking page that you need electricity, only the pitches where electricity is available will be shown. The distance to the nearest power box can be found in the pitch description. Please bring a suitable cable. Electricity is charged a flat rate per day.
You cannot book electricity online on the lawn.
There is a power distribution box in the eastern lawn, but due to free pitch choice, there is no guarantee that you can stand within reach.
You can book electricity on site if you have found a pitch within reach.
